the gallery: morning

Recently, when not raining, the mornings in Suffolk have been gorgeous!  The rapeseed fields are in blossom and the skies have been filled with beautiful clouds. Or at least that's what my husband has told me. I must confess I haven't been waking up early at all unless it is to go straight to work, and I didn't take this picture, Mr M did. He is very good at getting up and out, enjoying nature on his bike or with the dogs. I, on the other hand, have been very good at trying to enjoy as much sleep as possible when I can.

Everyone tells me I need to make the most of sleep before baby boy arrives...or maybe I'm just lazy, not sure yet.

  1. I love the yellow rapeseed too- especially against stormy grey/blue skies!

    1. I know - isn't the yellow gorgeous? I had never seen rapeseed until I moved to the UK 6.5 years ago and I just love it!

  2. Lovely image... and even a hint of blue sky to it. I am so fed up of this grey weather.

  3. Good for Mr M. It's a great pic. Nothing like a British field of rape, just so glorious

  5. My Silent Sunday last weekend was of the rape seed fields near our house. They just burst with colour don't they. And yes, get as much sleep as you can now! Lovely to find your blog x
